Dear Hornet Families,
We are excited for our upcoming Wet Field Day on Friday, May 22nd! Students will enjoy a fun-filled day that includes an inflatable water slide, water volleyball, a dunk tank, dancing, Kona Ice, and many other exciting activities.
To help ensure a safe and enjoyable event for everyone, please review the following reminders with your child before Field Day:
- Students should wear school-appropriate swimwear. All students must wear a t-shirt over their swimsuit that can get wet.
- Please bring a change of clothes and a towel.
- For safety reasons, students should not wear jewelry, glasses, or shoes during water activities.
- Students are expected to stay with their assigned group, follow directions from adults, and practice safe, respectful behavior at all times.
- Please apply sunscreen to your child before school. Sunscreen should remain at home, as students are not permitted to have sunscreen at school.
Permission slips must be returned to your child’s teacher prior to the event. This is also our PBIS event for Quarter 4. Students with any days of OSS or 3 or more Skyward referrals will not be able to participate in the water slide station. They may participate in the rest of the activities.
We are looking forward to a memorable and exciting day with our students!
With gratitude,
Mrs. Alligood
Principal
