Amanda Haynes

Mrs. Amanda Haynes serves as the Assistant Principal of Hernando Elementary School, where she works to support student success, assist teachers, and build positive relationships with families. With many years of experience in education and school administration, she is committed to helping create a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.

Mrs. Haynes holds a master’s degree in educational leadership and has served in several roles throughout her career, including classroom teacher, Exceptional Student Education (ESE) specialist, district-level professional, and school administrator. These experiences have given her a broad understanding of the needs of students, teachers, and families and the importance of working together to support student growth and achievement.

Mrs. Haynes believes that strong relationships, teamwork, and high expectations play an important role in student success. She enjoys working alongside teachers and families to help students learn and grow. As a member of the Hernando Elementary Hornet leadership team, she is especially proud to serve the school she attended from kindergarten through fifth grade. It is meaningful to her to give back to the school community that was part of her own educational journey.
