Dear Hornet Families,
As we move closer to the end of the school year, we want to remind our students and families that learning continues every day at Hernando Elementary. While many exciting end-of-year activities are approaching, our classrooms remain focused on instruction, growth, and maintaining a positive learning environment through the very last day of school.
This is an important time of year for students to continue showing our Hornet Expectations each day through respectful behavior, responsibility, kindness, and a commitment to safety. Consistency in routines and expectations helps all students remain successful and allows teachers to maximize valuable instructional time.
We encourage families to help support these expectations by:
- Reinforcing the importance of respectful behavior at school
- Encouraging students to stay focused and put forth their best effort
- Making sure students arrive on time and ready to learn each day
- Talking with your child about finishing the year strong academically and behaviorally
