As we enter the final two months of the school year, we are excited about all the learning, growth, and accomplishments still ahead for our students. This is a critical time in the school year, and consistent attendance plays a key role in ensuring every child finishes strong.
Each school day is filled with meaningful instruction, review, and opportunities for students to build confidence in their skills. When students are absent, even for a day, they can miss important lessons and practice that are difficult to fully replicate. .
In the coming weeks, our teachers are intentionally reviewing key standards and skills in preparation for May assessments. This review is not just repetition, it is focused, strategic, and designed to strengthen understanding, address any gaps, and build student confidence.
You can support your child by:
- Ensuring they arrive at school on time each day
- Scheduling appointments outside of school hours when possible
- Encouraging a consistent bedtime routine so they are well-rested
- Talking with your child about the importance of doing their best and staying focused
