Dear Hornet Families,
Our fourth and fifth grade students will be participating in the FAST Writing Assessment this week. Fourth grade students will take it on Wednesday April 1st and fifth grade students will take it on Thursday April 2nd. This assessment provides students with the opportunity to demonstrate their writing skills, including their ability to organize ideas, use evidence, and communicate clearly.
To help your child feel confident and prepared, please ensure they:
- Get a good night’s sleep before testing days
- Eat a healthy breakfast. Remember breakfast is served free of charge for all students every morning.
- Arrive to school on time
We encourage all students to do their best and show what they have learned throughout the year. Our teachers have been working hard to prepare students, and we are excited to see their growth!
