Dear Hornet Families,
At Hernando Elementary, we work every day to help our students grow not only academically, but also as respectful, responsible, and kind members of our school community. One way we do this is through our Hornet HERO Pledge, which reminds students of the expectations we have for everyone on campus. Our students recite and practice the pledge as part of the morning show every morning.
I am a HERO!
- I have Respect.
- I exhibit Responsibility.
- I remember Kindness.
- I obey Safety rules.
We are hornets!
To celebrate students who are demonstrating these expectations, we will be hosting a our Quarter 3 PBIS celebration this Friday! Students who have fewer than 3 Skyward referrals and no days of out-of-school suspension will be invited to participate in the celebration. This event is a way for us to recognize students who are consistently showing positive behavior at school.
We encourage families to talk with their children about the HERO pledge and how they can demonstrate Respect, Responsibility, Kindness, and Safety each day at school.
