At Hernando Elementary, we believe that student success is strongest when schools and families work together. One of the most powerful ways to support our students is through parent involvement and participation in our Parent Teacher Organization
Research consistently shows that when families are engaged in their child’s education, students have higher achievement, better attendance, and a more positive attitude toward school. Simply put, your involvement matters more than you may realize.
Our PTO plays a vital role in helping make HES such a special place. Through their support, we are able to enhance student experiences, provide resources for classrooms, and create memorable events for our school community.
Even small acts of involvement make a big difference, not only for your child, but for all of our students.
Our next PTO meeting is this coming Tuesday 4/21 at 4:15pm. We encourage everyone to attend. During the meeting they will be going over plans for Teacher and Staff Appreciation, Wet Field Day, and other end of the year plans. There will also be discussion about nominations for next year's PTO Board and voting will take place at the May meeting.
