Hornet Buzz

Week of February 16th, 2026

From the Desk of Mrs. Alligood

Dear Hornet Families,
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we worked through district network issues this week. We truly appreciate your flexibility and support during this unexpected disruption.
While our network was down, learning continued across our school. Teachers adapted lessons by using hands-on activities, small-group instruction, class discussions, and offline resources to ensure students remained engaged and on track. Classrooms focused on problem-solving, collaboration, reading, writing, and creative thinking, reminding us that meaningful learning does not stop when technology is unavailable.

We are incredibly proud of our staff and students for their perseverance and adaptability. Challenges like this provide valuable opportunities for students to practice resilience, flexibility, and determination. These skills that are just as important as academic learning.

Thank you again for your partnership and continued support as we work together to provide the best possible learning environment for our students.

With gratitude,
Mrs. Alligood
Principal
